MSC Foundation
Since 1996 MSC Automotive stands for premium quality products in crash measurement technique. The first products were accelerometers and displacement transducers, nowadays also load cells are in the product range. Place of production was and still is Schwieberdingen close to Stuttgart. In 2003, in Sindelfingen a second laboratory for calibration of physical values, in 2006 another place of production in Iffezheim were established.
MSC Development
Within 10 years the MSC staff grew from two members at the beginning to about 50 members today. The product portfolio rapidly increased during this period as well. Nowadays we offer hundreds of articles for sale - focusing special production according to customer needs.
New Competencies
In order to strengthen confidence in our products, in 1998 MSC established an independent calibration laboratory in the premises. In the meantime it has developed to an accredited laboratory for the physical value "force". All calibration laboratories of the MSC and the dummy laboratory are supplied with the complete infrastructure for handling digital systems, such as measuring machines and sensors.
Innovative Products
All times, MSC Automotive stands for premium sensors and cables. This wide product portfolio is supplemented by innovative developments in traditional measurement technique, especially when it comes to the in-dummy cabling. The digital data acquisition system for assembling in the dummy is still trendsetting today, although it was already developed in the year 2000. It provides reliable service since 2001 in a motorcycle dummy and since 2002 in the H3 dummy.
