Digital Instrumentation

Digital instrumentation shows what is state-of-the-art and will be trend-setting: as a user you only need one ethernet system cable per dummy that leads to the external hub or directly to the measuring pc. Our system consists of transducers with digital transducer interface DTI, in-dummy wiring with user panels, cable connectors, channel collector, panel racks for the modular measuring system, and the measuring system itself.

In-dummy user panels are used to connect several sensors with digital interface DSI with SPI-interface to the myMDDAM measuring system (data recorder) inside the dummy. This system wiring is optimized to the dummy types, for example, HIII-95%, HIII-50%, and HIII-5% in connection with the digital measuring system myMDDAM. It allows the compact laying of the wiring in a single cable harness from the measuring system to a channel collector group. Inside the dummy, the channel collector group is preferably assembled at the spine box or the pelvis.

The following manuals concerning digital instrumentation are available:

  • In-Dummy Instrumentation HIII-50% Dummy with the MiniatureDigitalData AcquisitionSystem MDDAS:
    Manual HB-142
  • In-Dummy Instrumentation HIII-5% Dummy with the MiniatureDigitalData AcquisitionSystem MDDAS:
    Manual HB-162

  • In-Dummy Instrumentation HIII-95% Dummy with the MiniatureDigitalData AcquisitionSystem MDDAS:
    Manual HB-182
